Gute Nachrichten für Xbox 360 Besitzer: EA bringt den Titel Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth II nebst dem PC nur auf die Xbox 360. Das Strategiespiel soll HD-Grafiken sowie Surround-Sound unterstützen. Auch Xbox Live wird integriert, um spannende Onlineschlachten zu ermöglichen. Wie man allerdings die Mausgestützte Steuerung des PC’s auf das Xbox 360 Gamepad überträgt, ist uns jedenfalls schleierhaft. EA scheint aber eine Lösung gefunden zu haben.

Wie EA an einer Pressekonverenz am 27.01.2006 sagte, werde man über den USB-Port die Maus und Tastatur anschliessen können. Somit ist eine Steuerübertragung aufs Pad überflüssig.
